Terms of Service

Last updated: August 21, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Aeolo, a business registered in the Republic of Korea under business registration number 728-14-02796 ("Aeolo," "we," or "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The "Service" includes the Aeolo website, dashboard, APIs, MCP server, and Aeolo experiences made available through ChatGPT or Codex. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

2. Description of Service

Features and availability may vary by plan, integration, country, or platform. Aeolo does not guarantee a ranking, citation, publication acceptance, traffic level, conversion, or revenue result.

  • Brand understanding, AI-search visibility measurement, site audits, and competitive analysis.
  • Research, strategy, content generation, review, image, publishing, and automation workflows.
  • Traffic, conversion, and revenue attribution based on data sources you authorize.
  • Integrations with analytics, search, commerce, social, storage, and publishing platforms.

3. Accounts, Workspaces, and Authorization

  • Provide accurate account information and protect your credentials, sessions, and developer tokens.
  • Use only domains, analytics properties, channels, storefronts, files, and accounts that you own or are authorized to manage.
  • Keep workspace roles and connected-platform permissions current, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.
  • You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for obtaining any notices, permissions, or consents required for data you provide.

4. ChatGPT and Codex Use

Using Aeolo through ChatGPT or Codex requires an Aeolo account and is also subject to the applicable OpenAI terms. OpenAI determines when to present or call the Aeolo plugin; Aeolo controls the MCP tools and data returned by those tools.

Review the selected workspace, tool inputs, generated content, and proposed action before confirming a write, paid job, publication, deployment, message, indexing submission, integration change, or deletion. You are responsible for deciding whether an output is accurate, lawful, substantiated, and suitable for publication.

Disconnecting the plugin from ChatGPT stops future plugin access but does not cancel a subscription or delete your Aeolo account or workspace data.

5. Acceptable Use

  • Do not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract non-public service code or models.
  • Do not bypass rate limits, access controls, confirmations, usage caps, or third-party platform restrictions.
  • Do not use the Service to scrape or access third-party services without authorization, transmit malware, impersonate others, infringe intellectual property, or violate applicable law or platform terms.
  • Do not submit passwords, API keys, MFA codes, full payment-card data, government identifiers, protected health information, or other restricted data through plugin prompts or content fields.
  • Do not use automated scripts or agents to abuse, overload, resell, or disrupt the Service.

6. Customer Content and Intellectual Property

Aeolo and its licensors retain all rights in the Service, including its software, interfaces, workflows, models, documentation, and branding.

You retain ownership of content and data you submit. You grant Aeolo a non-exclusive license to host, process, transform, and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service.

You represent that you have the rights needed for submitted content, brand assets, source material, and connected accounts. You remain responsible for reviewing generated output and third-party materials before use or publication.

7. AI Output and Measurement Limitations

AI-generated analysis and content may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Visibility measurements are observations of third-party systems that can change without notice. Attribution depends on the configuration and quality of connected data sources.

The Service does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other regulated professional advice. You must independently review claims, citations, rights, disclosures, and industry-specific requirements before relying on or publishing output.

8. Third-Party Services

Connected platforms and model providers are operated by third parties under their own terms, policies, rate limits, and availability. Aeolo is not responsible for a third party changing, suspending, rejecting, or discontinuing its service. You authorize Aeolo to exchange the minimum data needed to perform the integration actions you request.

9. Payment, Credits, and Billing

Some features require a paid plan, entitlement, or usage credits. Prices, included usage, credit expiry, taxes, and renewal terms are shown before purchase on Aeolo-controlled checkout or order materials.

The ChatGPT or Codex plugin does not sell subscriptions or credits. Users complete any eligible purchase or plan change on an Aeolo-controlled surface outside the plugin.

You authorize applicable recurring charges until cancellation. Cancellation stops future renewal and does not erase charges already incurred. Refunds are provided where required by law or by the refund terms shown at purchase.

We may change future prices or plan features with notice. Changes do not retroactively alter a completed billing period unless required by law.

10. Suspension, Cancellation, and Deletion

You may cancel renewal or request account deletion through available settings or the Data Deletion page. Shared workspace content may remain available to other authorized owners after your membership is removed.

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, create security or legal risk, abuse the Service, or if continued operation is not reasonably possible. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Aeolo does not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free output, or a particular commercial result.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aeolo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages. Aeolo's aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the fees you paid Aeolo for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded.

12. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify Aeolo from third-party claims arising from content or data you submit, a publication or external action you authorize, your violation of law or third-party rights, or your material breach of these Terms.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, disputes will be submitted to the court with jurisdiction over Aeolo's principal place of business. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

14. Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms by posting the revised version and changing the last-updated date. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will provide any notice required by law. Questions can be sent to contact@aeolo.io.
