Data Deletion Request

Last updated: August 21, 2026

You can disconnect an integration, revoke a developer token, leave a shared workspace, or request deletion of your Aeolo account and data at any time. We may verify account ownership before carrying out a deletion request.

In-App Deletion

Use the most specific control available for the data you want to remove:

  1. Open Aeolo Settings.
  2. Use Integrations to disconnect Google, social, commerce, storage, or publishing services.
  3. Use Developer settings to revoke an Aeolo API or MCP token.
  4. Use Account settings to request deletion of your Aeolo account.

Email Request

Email contact@aeolo.io with the subject "Data Deletion Request" from the address associated with your Aeolo account. Identify the account, workspace, domain, or connected service you want deleted. Do not send a password, API key, OAuth token, MFA code, or payment-card information.

What We Delete

  • The requesting user's authentication account, sessions, personal profile, and memberships when account deletion is completed.
  • Workspaces, domains, content, brand data, analysis results, and assets controlled only by the deleted account, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • OAuth bindings, credentials, API tokens, cached integration data, and channel metadata that are no longer required by another connection you maintain.

Shared Workspaces and Connected Accounts

Deleting your account removes your access and membership. Content in a workspace that has another authorized owner may remain available to that organization. Disconnecting one domain does not delete a shared connected-service credential that is still needed by another domain or channel you maintain.

What We May Retain

  • Aggregated or anonymized analytics that no longer identify you.
  • Billing, invoice, tax, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, and legal records for the periods described in the Privacy Policy or required by law.
  • Deletion records needed to demonstrate that the request was completed and to prevent accidental restoration.

Timing

We remove eligible data from active systems without undue delay and ordinarily within 30 days after verification. Access-restricted backups may retain deleted data for up to 90 days before rotation. A legal obligation, security investigation, dispute, or shared-workspace dependency may require limited data to be retained longer.

ChatGPT and Codex

Disconnecting the Aeolo plugin from ChatGPT stops new access from that OpenAI account but does not delete the underlying Aeolo account or workspace data. Complete deletion through Aeolo settings or by emailing the request above. OpenAI controls deletion of conversation data retained in ChatGPT or Codex.
